I have to be honest I find this list a bit odd. Surely a visit to a museum is one of those unnecessary journeys that we are not supposed to be making at the moment?

Yes, I'm hoping this will build into a comprehensive UK aircraft museums directory!

Yorkshire Air Museum at Elvington has closed the main hangar and the control tower and various other buildings but you can pop in and have a look around the outdoor exhibits and garden areas. I understand that there is no charge for this, just an honesty box to make a donation.
