2017 and a visit up the Mach Loop prior to RIAT. Probably the best day I've spent up there in the last 10 years or so. As well as visiting Belgian F16s, we also had Spang F16s, the usual Hawks and an appearance from the Granby Tornado as well, what a treat that was.

I read the exif data which shows incorrectly the 8th July for some reason! Ah well, it'll save me posting them next week!!!

You must show me sometime how to edit that pesky exif data, always handy when you're somewhere you're not supposed to be!

Flying Legends 2005 started in very murky weather which seems to have improved by mid-afternoon.

Ah that Saab. Was it that long ago?

Another Legends from me, 2011. A couple of nice P-51's visiting from the US for the Horsemen, who displayed as a duo. Sadly though, Big Beautiful Doll was lost on the Sunday show, the following day.

Legends again, this time 2017. A bit of a Legends by numbers this one, but the Horsemen and Sea Fury/Bearcat routines stick in the memory.

Great stuff guys. I'm particularly liking the legends pics - I've never done a Duxford show, with it always being close date wise to IAT, and a long haul, just never seem to have the time to do both. Keep 'em coming.

Ah you've got to do a Legends, even if its just the once. There's nothing quite like it, the pace of the flying display is relentless. Three hours or so of not knowing which way to look :-) For me, single day is fine, and every other year when the calendar permits it complements RIAT really well, and kicks the fun off in style.

2011 a dull and overcast Yeovilton, but what a show. Highlight was definitely this:

A very impressive Dutch Apache display:

And the debut of the constantly impressive French Navy with the Rafale M and Super Etendard:

And 2012 and a dull and overcast Farnborough opening day and opening flypast. Shot from the outside:

Indeed, I posted a couple of times today and neither are there. I was getting server error each time I posted but that's been happening for a while now. Very strange...

Popped down to Duxford on the Friday before the Flying Legends 2015 show. I think the pics I took were better than the actual show!
