Weather cancellation. Oh well. There's always the 80th anniversary.

Was up on Corstorphine Hill, you should have heard the disappointment when they found out Flypast was cancelled, Thanks to a young guy with a Scanner. Still gutted.

Cardiff also cancelled due to weather, the Reds are just landing at Brize for fuel, tea & medals.

Just one of those things.

We should be used to it. August wouldn't be August if there wasn't at least one flypast cancelled (think Military Tattoo).

Unfortunate there's no Tattoo though, & this was the only flypast scheduled. 😄

The Facebook gammon is NOT happy at the lack of flypasts today, apparently something about "it wouldn't have happened on VJ-Day" and stuff.

Thread cleaned up. Brevet has been banned for a period due to his needless remarks.
Did he want to machine-gun the Scots as well as the migrants this time?

The state of some of those comments...embarrassing.

A shame about the weather for the Reds, but at least the BBMF managed to get their flypast in for the veterans at Alrewas this morning.

Cracking flypast in beautiful Belfast, loved seeing Red 10 banking and swooping around the team taking photos.

Any truth in the story that the Red Arrows are flying over Edinburgh Tomorrow night at 7pm?

The weather is set to improve so that would be good. Is it a replacement service for the VJ call-off?

Red 6 has suffered a bird strike to the canopy and has been escorted into Edinburgh Airport by Red 9.

So do we think flypasts over London and Cardiff are also in the pipeline?
