Re: Interesting Internet
A recent publicity video released by the Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO) showed Omani Typhoons practising the air-to-ground role. Perhaps surprisingly, the Omani aircraft were shown dropping what appeared to be 2,000-lb GBU-10 LGBs - a weapon cleared for use on Typhoon back in 2006-7, and part of the P1Eb software release, but not in use by the British Royal Air Force, or indeed by any of the original partner nations.

Re: Interesting Internet
Probably deserves it’s own thread, tbh, but interesting to see a F-35 display at Lakenheath in December next year:
Presumably, it coincides with the F-35A arrivals.

Re: Interesting Internet
Good news that they've found a home. Let's hope they can be make live again, even if it is unlikely they'll fly elsewhere in the world.

Re: Interesting Internet
Interesting...I wonder where they are all heading, and how, given the complications and specialist knowledge of dismantling a Lightning for transport, assuming you intend to keep it capable of flying again.
My guess is USA being the destination, as can't think of anywhere else.
