Re: Weston 2022
Fab to hear about its return. Such a lovely little seaside show (and usually one or two really rare gems of helicopters parked on the lawn!)

Re: Weston 2022
Hi all - I'm going to go to this one for the first time, are there any decent spots with a bit of elevation/alternative viewpoints (like Dawlish used to be!).
The website is pretty broken, but it looks like a decent enough day out at the seaside. I plan on driving to Taunton and getting the train in.
Cheers, Jake.

Yep, and it's better for the light as well. But don't expect to walk there from a station! You'll have to drive and park up, probably at the National Trust car park.2e1var wrote: ↑Tue 24 May 2022, 12:59 amYup, head up Brean DownG-CVIX wrote: ↑Sun 22 May 2022, 10:10 amHi all - I'm going to go to this one for the first time, are there any decent spots with a bit of elevation/alternative viewpoints (like Dawlish used to be!).

Don’t expect to get particularly close to the action at Brean Down…..Dawlish it is not!
Re: Weston 2022
I did think that might be the case, but thank you all regardless. I'll likely have the partner in tow so it might be an ice cream and crowd centre affair anyway. If she doesn't come along I'll drive and get a spot up there.Mictheslik wrote: ↑Tue 24 May 2022, 6:45 pmDon’t expect to get particularly close to the action at Brean Down…..Dawlish it is not!
Dawlish was fantastic, wasn't it?
