Great to see N18V again - I saw it at Southend in about 1980 and never since. Saw another US registered Staggerwing flying over Lasham in 1978, think it was UK based for a while but never saw it again either.

David, I lost an SD card last week on site - could have been anywhere between ARCo end and ATC...
It was a spare and may have been a Sandisk 64...
Underneath my gruff exterior is an even gruffer interior...

Duxford Monday 16th May (Part 1):

B-17G 'Sally B' emerged into the sunshine this afternoon after a long winter in Hangar 2.
With routine maintenance complete (but still lacking one prop), she is back in her usual spot on the Eastern apron.
The 2022 flying schedule is now online at: https://www.sallyb.org.uk/flying-programme.htm
First outing is presently planned for training on May 28/29 before the traditional flypast at Madingley on the 30th.
Although the B-17 has loyal and effective volunteer support, maintenance and flying costs are soaring.
A visit to https://www.sallyb.org.uk/appeal.htm#appeal will provide details about helping the crew make ends meet.

The Walrus is privately owned, sadly there are no details of plans for this aircraft in the public domain.
