On the third day of Axalp Fliegerschiessen, we stayed down in the valley and visited Meiringen AB. As usual, there were a lot of heli movements bringing all the 'VIPS' to the shooting range. The base itself is very accessible, with a lot of nice photo opportunities. You can even cross the runway on foot between the approaches

Great shots from a superbly accessible location. Stirs memories of excellent days spent here going back years before fences were a feature!
