Not sure if it's been noted or not, but showing with the title of the review for EAA Oshkosh on the home screen

Re: Air Legend review
My fault. I’ll fix it later, thanks.

Re: Air Legend review
Only just read this Show Report & it really is a realistic account of what was seen on my Sunday visit. Yes, some of the flying was missing the odd non-serviceable aircraft & there were a few no-show participants, but that didn't detract from the overall spectacle of the whole Event.
What did & does grind my gears is that both the excellent La-Ferte-Alais & Melun Villaroche shows subscribe to the embedded French Tradition that Lunch & Grape-juice MUST come first! Then & only then can they begin the show. As Jakub Zurek asserts, 'with the flying programme running around an hour late at this point, it is understandable that there just simply were not enough daylight hours in the day for a solo display from each participant.' Why on God's Earth can they not start the flying earlier? People were drifting away from before 5 pm?
Same thing happens at L-F-A. I've been on the field for over 6 hours before the flying display starts! The solution could be to start the flying in the late morning, & have limited one hour lunch-break for our inflexible Gallic Hosts?
Oh Well!
