Early Bird & Advance Cheaper than Duxford's (£49.50, with Duxford charging more for parking too) summer show tickets - seems like they've been reasonable with the pricing.
Advanced tickets only
Early Bird Tickets are limited: Should Early Bird Tickets sell out before 29th February - the ticket price will automatically increase to the Advance Ticket price.

Will there be a flight line walk?
Yes, access will be an additional £5 and tickets for this can be purchased on the day at the entrance to the flight line walk. More information with regards to the flight line walk will be available closer to the event.

Flying Bulls B-25 also now showing on the website. https://www.sywell2024.co.uk/aircraft

Cheaper as an individual, but if you want to take a 12-16 year old (or two) it'll be more expensive as they're the same rate as the adult - under 16's are free at Duxford.

Advance will only be cheaper if you choose not to do the Flight Line walk - which is free at Duxford - if you do it'll be on par. Also interested to find out more about the £10 'Premium Parking' that Sywell are offering.

Obviously it's cheaper for me to do Duxford, but I'll still be buying a ticket for Sywell as it is very reasonably priced and will have some excellent content.

I asked them on Facebook, their reply was it was a lot closer to the airfield. After further clarification, still not ON the airfield, just closer to it

So the field over the road then as a best guess.

However, what worries me in their reply is 'a lot closer to the airfield'. How far away is the regular parking?

I think in this day and age the price is fair, although I’d rather pay more for the ticket and not have to remember a fiver on the day for the flight line walk.

Having experienced KB last year which took about an hour to get from the car park and about three to get back to it, it should be a breeze!!

Mmm, yes, a concern. That, and the 'click bait' advertising leaves me to doubt too. Best to wait until things become clearer. Sywell is not noted for an enthusiast friendly ambiance.

The proof of the ticket price will be in the pudding, as its a new event I won't pass judgement until it's happened.

I found Flying Legends very poor value for money when I last went, the flying display was just too small and hectic.

I'm looking forward to this show and have my ticket :-)

I'm sure I'll be lugging enough cash around to cover the £5 for the flight line walk. From a logistical point of view, making it part of the ticket price/free means you don't have to empty people to collect those fivers.

And there was me thinking anything around the ten minute walk mark would make the premium parking value for money! :joy:

Hopefully there'll still be some Early Bird tickets and premium parking left come payday at the end of the month.

Hopefully they might also bring RM927 along too.
RM927 announced this afternoon (it returned to flight in 2022, not 2023, though)...

Excellent podcast, essential listening for sure.

I picked up tickets for both days yesterday. It seemed like the sensible thing to do given that i only live 15 minutes away.

The line up is exceptional so far and it sounds like it's only going to get better. Bring on June!

Just a warning though, the van Egmond family had a reputation in the 90s for not showing up on the day. Haven't seen them announced much after this era, nor seen at any show.
