Sorry Cosford, as much as I like Rich Goodwin in his Pitts displays, it ain't winning today.
It's not Rich Goodwin, it's sdj-aerobatics ;) but yes, it sure as heck isn't going to top this one.
Ah, that's different then, if its SDJ :exploding_head: , its Cosford all the way!

Well that was unexpected!!! Absolute star of the show already , been on my wish list since the start knowing it would at least be feasible with farnborough this year . What an absolute gem that will be !!!!!

Of course it's not confirmed until RIAT confirms it.

Oh my word 🤯🤯, I thought my only chance of seeing an F-15 in the air would be during flypasts.

Fabulous stuff! Just hope it's Farnborough appearance doesn't dilute the sequence...

Let’s hope the demo is a little longer than at Dubai. When it performed there it was only about 3/4mins.

However seeing just a F15QA take off would be incredible!

I think seeing an F-15 Demo is mega in itself regardless what it does.

Looks like this year RIAT has something for everyone. Will be a first for a fbw F15 for me and having a tp throw it around will be a real treat. 1,305 hrs until I arrive at Fairford, not that I'm counting or anything.

Yeah, this is what softens my anticipation a bit about the potential appearance. When the Super Hornets were displayed at Fairford it was always/often to Farnborough regulations, making them high & distant.

Hi folks,

Is there any way to get to Riat on Sat from Swindon that doesn't involve a shuttle bus? Tickets for those are all sold out.

Absolutely stonking self confirmation right there, wow!

badred - there's always a way! But it won't be a taxi, at least not to very close.

Could try asking on here or elsewhere to cadge a lift perhaps? I think at least one other person on here is hiring a car from Swindon, but not sure for which days...

It was already a decent year. This f-15 is beyond a star participant!

Good effort Boeing. That was my top pick for this year to be honest. The Dubai display was very impressive for such a big bird.

“NASA departure”, unless Rich wants to correct me, and “Cape Canaveral take off” is slang for departures that take off very quickly and gain a lot of height, so that most of the showground see a lot of belly on take off.

It can be spectacular for display days, less good for those on the West end at departure days.

Exactly that Tommy.

My idea of a airshow is a low take off aka mig29 to the end and up bit like whick climb Friday at LN. Then it can come and do a touch and go and land as I have no interest in watching it do a few passes miles away.

I've got to admit I was doubting we would be getting an F15 however fair play to Boeing for pulling it out of the bag it should be a fantastic display. We've still got however many weeks to go and the Flying line-up does look great. Forgive me if I miss any of the self-confirms (or spell something wrong), but I think this may be the flying list so far:
Flying:
• Canadian CF118A
• Czech Gripen C
• Danish F16AM
• Finish Midnight Hawks display team
• German A400m
• German Eurofighter Typhoon
• German Army NH90
• Hungarian Gripen C
• Italian Eurofighter Typhoon
• Italian C27 J Spartan
• Italian T346A Master
• Jordanian Royal Jordanian Falcons
• RAF Lancaster
• RAF Spitfire
• RAF Hurricane
• RAF Red Arrows
• RAF Eurofighter Typhoon Display Team
• RAF F35 B Lightning 2 Demo
• Slovenian PC9
• Spanish Harrier 2
• Swedish Gripen C
• Swiss Patrouille Suisse
• Turkish F16 Demo
• Boeing F15 Demo
• RAF Chinook Demo
To be honest I can’t really imagine the list will grow much from here.
