Stupid question (presumably) is that is there 2 displays each day (1 dirty 1 clean)? Or just a lucky dip as to which aircraft displays on the day you're attending?
Maybe one for the question thread :)

Another thing I want to mention is a big thank you to the Peter and the team for bringing what looks to be another splendid addition of the show!

Flying highlights with still 6 weeks to go:

• F-15QA
• German A400
• Gripens (Swedish/Czech/Hungarian)
• F-16's (Polish/Solo Turk/Danish)
• F-35B
• Spanish Navy Harrier
• Patrouille Suisse
• Typhoons (RAF, German, Italian)
• Canadian Hornet

And not to mention the huge F-16 static line up.

I know a lot of us say times are getting worse in the airshow world, but I'd take this show, over 2010/2011/2013/2015 any day of the week.

Absolutely fantastic addition that. The lineup dare I say looks better than 2022/2018! The flying lineup is fantastic and still some to come. Well done DBH and Peter

We are very pleased to announce that Boeing will be providing the F-15QA to take part in the flying display at RIAT 2024. The flying display will include a pair of aircraft in Qatari Emiri Air Force colours and each aircraft will perform a solo display on different days of the show. The first aircraft will be configured ‘clean’ to show off the maximum performance of the aircraft, the second will be configured in a combat configuration to demonstrate how little the aircrafts performance is affected when carrying weapons. Both displays will be flown by Boeing test pilots.
Fantastic to see it confirmed now. Really looking forward to RIAT.

Huge shock there... can you imagine the protests if they did attend!?

Might as well call the whole thing off if they decided to turn up.

Do you lot think that there are any other fast jets not confirmed that could realistically perform at RIAT now that the Polish F16 and the F15 have confirmed? Just curious if anything else is expected/possible?

Good question. I’ll try not to get wishlisty here so wish (😉) me luck.

French navy rafale pair, didn’t do any international events last year but are doing Athens flying week this year so one to keep an eye on!

Spanish af hornet or eurofighter, someone posted on here along the lines of “possible Spanish flying participation to come”

Realistically in terms of flying fast jet displays that’s all I can think of…

Anyone else?

Call off the airshow when DBH (or someone else getting involved like the Argies last year) themselves could just send an email thanking them for their intention to attend but politely decline.

Sorry JMC.

Am I right in thinking that whenever Israel did participate it was never announced in advance anyway?

We've literally just had a F-15QA announced on a Tuesday :exploding_head: The first in the flying since 2007!

I think Tommy is right with reference to 'onto the next thing once the present has been opened'. Why are we straight into thinking about what could come next? The mind boggles.

Sorry 😕 Reading it back it does sound like that but it wasn’t meant in that way more on the lines of is the F15 the ‘grand finale’ of jet displays or is there any other discussion points that anyone knows about. More me trying to have something else interesting to read after a very boring day to be honest…

Likewise. I have so much free time in and out of college that I get on here and start chatting 😂. Glad to know I ain’t the only one. Also thinking of what could come keeps everything refreshing and the discussion going. I was thinking the same thing also Ben. Not detracting from the fact of how Damn THRILLED I am about the F-15. That is a crazy catch!

Just screenshotted at the time of the slight reveal. And if it looks anywhere near what I see on the glimpse, this could be one of the best schemes in a long time.

It seems to have a chrome belly, more black on the top with a Danish flag on the topside and a Falcon on the tail!

Says it'll be revealed on Sunday.

I really look forward to seeing it. The danish f16 being my favourite demo of the type. Dannebrog looked great. But this will likely look better
