Bloody noisy Typhoons having a RIOT low-level off the South Wales coast.
Now heading to Cardiff, saying they'll be RTB Conningsby on Monday, so presumably the one ( and a spare ) scheduled for this weekend's Swansea airshow.
Think they're ZJ913 & 917

Edited @ 12:45hrs to add...
SWAG website confirms tail numbers.
Photos on there show '913 as being in the 'D-Day' colours, so presumably that's the scheduled display plane.

Yak-50 ( G-YAKM ) inbound Cardiff for this weekend's Swansea airshow.

I would post the timings for RAFAT, but as the Wales Online site has completely different Saturday display times from those Swansea have published they're probably nonsense!

Edited to add....
Ah, well, posted too soon.....Yak's off to Swansea :flushed:

It left Wick, not Lossie and according to Air Nav, heading for Baden-Baden.

No doubt someone on here will have the answer....
RAFAT turned up at Cardiff earlier ( somewhat spread out in 3 separate flights )
Looking on the SWAG site, they have them as having come from Mildenhall.
Any ideas why?

Should have displayed at Headcorn (cancelled due to low cloud).

Out and about in Sutton Coldfield this evening, heard something different overhead around 18:20, and just managed to spot a Dakota. Currently passing over Chelmsford (the Dak, not me). All FR24 says is "Douglas C-47-DL". Anyone know who it is?

EDIT: Just spotted Mooshie's previous comment, so C47 N150D I guess.

First thought was that they'd been there since yesterday doing something 4 July related

Not unusal to have the occasional foreign C-130 ( and other military planes ) pop in to Cardiff Airport, but today's will be a bit out of the ordinary.....there's a UAE C-130 currently over Northern France which is apparantly due in this morning.
Showing on the various tracking sites as UAF1213 ( Tail No. 1217 )

Presume it was Starmer doing a flying visit ( in more ways than one ) to Cardiff earlier - KITTYHAWK 60 ( Falcon 900, G-ZAHS )
And another unusual Military visitor, HASTA 10 ( USAF Dornier C-146A T/No. 11-3075 ) ....not heard it depart yet, so think it's still there.

Confused.
King & Queen visited Cardiff today.
Arrived by the usual KRF S-76 ( G-XXEB )
So far, so good......except it's listed on the SWAG site as having used the callsign RAINBOW 2 ROMEO.
Have SWAG listed it incorrectly, have the KRF changed the tradition of the Monarch's flight being 'R1R', or did the pilot cock up ( unlikely, but stranger things have happened )
