Top Guns Channel 4

Post by Brenden S »

I am surprised I could not find a thread about this great show on Channel 4. I have watched the first 2 episodes and I am awaiting the next lot over the next few weeks.

Superb so far. But I’m surprised they reveal the names of the pilots, or could they be using a pseudonym?

Perhaps some information about what day and time it is broadcast would be useful?
nothing is confirmed at a show until its u/c hits the tarmac or it is running in for its display.....

9 pm. Info from my TV guide. Good series. Suspect some scenes have been staged, but that is reality TV for you.
Best Regards.

I watch it via a VPN here in Australia. I am glad others have replied.

Not sure I'd say that scenes were staged necessarily, but certainly they are showing training sortie footage whist the pilots are talking about real world taskings. To me that's obvious certainly with the Typhoons but to a casual viewer they might think they are seeing footage from genuine taskings.

In the most recent one on board the P8 then that does appear to be a highly edited real world tasking.
