Same, I was quite annoyed about missing the Draken at Ebo, but having then both at Bournemouth is even better. This will be my first time attending, return ticket £36 from Eastbourne on the Friday.

Be nice to meet up with fellow hammers.

I don't see why not - last time the Draken displayed at Bournemouth it was based at Hurn.

I've bought the programme. Fury, Tempest, Mustang, Spitfire & Starlings are listed as displaying all 3 days. That can change of course between now and the,

Is the Mustang and Spit from RR Heritage flight? And are the TBC aircraft also in the programme (Swordfish, Gazelle Sqr.)?

Correct they are from RR flight. They are indeed with the exception of the BoB flight which is increasingly looking like Lancaster only. Would love to see a late addition RAF F35 role Demo to cap off a great line up.

Yes, Mustang & Spitfire PS853 from RR Heritage Flight. Swordfish down for all 3 days, Gazelle sqr for Fri/Sat. Bear in mind the programme was printed way in advance of the event and the final schedule/timings are not published yet using the code provided with the programme.

What do you all think of the f-35 role demo turning up, I dunno if it’s likely at all but would like to see as my only other chance to see it was RIAT

If you saw it at RIAT why the urgency to see it again? Very unlikely it'll confirm. It was only ever down for Cosford, RIAT and Duxford in September.

It was down for old buck aswell. They never released a formal schedule, rather sites like European airshows added to shows to the schedule when shows announced them! Also RIAT was the first time I’ve had the chance to see a full f35 demo and a thoroughly enjoyed it! Would be nice to get some more photos aswell!

Managed to get the Thursday off work for this. Hopefully taking my brother down with me and meeting a mate down there. Really looking forward to seeing the classic Swedes. Does anyone have any advice on parking? I will be driving down on the day and coming back home on the day but just need to know any good spots. Also what is the best time to get to Bournemouth for?

Parking will be a nightmare to be honest, we're booked into a hotel and it's costing us £15 for 24 hours.

Get there early, think we're going to try one of the recommended car parks on the Friday and see how it goes.

Pretty sure you'll have seen this but just incase.

Yeah from what I've read the parking seems interesting! I'll see if there is anything pre-bookable. Even if it costs a bit, I'd prefer to know I have a spot.

Also .... I have not done Bournemouth before. Where is 'show center' roughly?

Show center is online with the zigzag path that goes down the cliff face! Really easy to identify, but it is to my knowledge the busiest airshow in the UK so expect it to be packed if you’re not there early. Ideally you want to be there 3-4 hours before the airshow

If there's a fair few of you the Park and Ride works out as a good deal, is easy to park, the buses are regular and it saves a lot of hassle.

There's also the offer of Premium Parking, in Bath Road, right by Bournemouth Pier, but it's £45 for the Friday!

If there's only one or a couple of you I'd suggest the York Road/Cotlands road carpark. I think it's £5 all day, though it may be more this year - it used to be £4. I've used it in 2018, 2019, and last year and had no issues. It's then less than a 10 minute walk to the Overcliff. Looking back at my parking app I parked up at about 11:30 last year on the Saturday (the busier day) and there were still a good amount of spaces (I'm rather fussy how I park my car so am more picky in space choice, but if you're not you'll be fine). I think I arrived later in the years I've done the weekdays at Bournemouth. I'll be heading there for the Friday this year too.

Crowd centre is roughly with the zig-zag, as Morgangalley said. There will be marker boys in the sea marking the centre of the display box, and the middle two are display centre. It's also where the big hospitality marquee is on the beach.

I'd recommend heading down to the beach if you can, as in recent years more and more of the Overcliff has been used for various activities such as the RAF and STEM villages, as well as the fencing for the goats means it's much more difficult to get a good spot for photos unless you're there really early, where as the beach, even at crowd centre, still has plenty of space.
