Only the Lancaster would interest me to be honest, I've seen everything a lot this last 12 months and I don't fancy chancing flights and hotels only to take a gamble on October weather.

Only thing worrying me is October weather. Looks to be mixed depending on the site. Light rain all day seems to be what most are saying.

The weather for Friday seems to be OK enough. If you are an IWM member you will be able to get in for free on Friday's Arrivals and Practice Day.

Morning everyone, first time I will be visiting a flying day instead of a weekend Airshow. Can someone tell me about the parking, I can't seem to find anything online? Is it just the main car park? Or is there an overflow that is used?

I'm aiming to get there about 11am.

I have generally been directed to the overflow car park on the site that is to the north of the A505

North American P-51D Mustang 'Marinell' has been added.

I do really want to go, but after weighing it up, I have decided against it. My usual Cambridge hotel is too expensive for 2 nights, Stansted hotel is cheap, but there are no direct trains to Cambridge/Whittlesford on Saturday it seems so have to take 2 trains then a taxi from Cambridge/Whittlesford or a walk to and from IWM.

Too much hastle with my health. It does look like a very good line up for a 1 day show.
