Model Shops

Post by cabbage »

Like many older scale modellers, I bemoan the seeming lack of the old style model shops on the High Street.

Suprise, suprise, while trying to find a nearby shop, stocking the latest Airfix Re-releases (Vintage Classics), I stumbled upon ACCESS MODELS in Newark. On entering the shop, it was like stepping back in time. Although fairly small, it was stacked from floor to ceiling with plastic kits of all types and sizes. There appeared to be a good stock of modelling accessories as well.

Unfortunately, my budget wouldn't allow to much browsing, but I will definitely be visiting it in the near future.

Incidently, the model I bought cost nearly £2 less than from other sources,(I wont mention its name for fear of upsetting the apple cart).

They also do Mail-Order for those of you who don't live within easy reach.

Yeh Access Models is great. I decided to call in on the way back from NAM and will definitely go back
