For those who purchased the now delayed (till 1st week of December) Collector’s Edition, Microsoft will be giving;

1 month of game pass (thus access to base game)

Upgrade to Aviator Edition on day 1 ish, rather than waiting. (gamertag must be entered at aerosoft).
Then inputing the game key once they finally ship.

Doesn't bode well that the company that owns Azure can't get this right!

So much for "scalability"

DIsastrous release. This is why we don't pre-order things.

Well after a lot of consideration, I went for the cheapest edition. Even that was too much - what a dreadful product - a triumph of style over content. After a few hours of installing, unpacking, loading etc. I finally got it going the other night and I get get constant CTDs. Sometimes after a getting airborne, sometimes during start up. I have yet to close it down properly. It looks great but I'll go back to X-plane 12 or even MSFS 2020.
