Yep massive loss. The Finnish and Swiss Hornet demos are the best in my opinion. Spanish not too far behind.

I remain hopeful that there'll still be variety, sure there'll be some types missing but that's always the case as time moves on. Some countries are still getting F-15s, F-16s, Gripens, Typhoons... They just have to squeeze them in amongst all the F-35 solos

On the one hand that sounds good but it says to be replaced by drones ....

equally we could have a greater variety of drones to watch at an airshow than just F-35s lol

Musk is driving the drone idea. Sounds a bit like the 1957 Defence White Paper all over again. I don't think it'll happen.

Yeah it is a weird one, I have enjoyed most F-35 'displays' I've seen. The Marine F-35 at miramar was flung about ! Properly put through it's paces.

But ...... like a lot of people I don't like this plague threatening to wipe out any other type of fighter
