Joysticks!!!

Gents,

My Saitek X55 Pro has gone and fubared itself, there’s a loose connection in the throttle and it disconnects and reconnects at random.

I need a new hotas set!

I need something with atleast the same number of buttons, a twist grip for rudder and a view control HAT as I don’t use VR or head tracking?

Any suggestions?


I was looking at the Virpil Constellation but are their bases suitable for use on a desk?

Any reason you don't use head tracking? I use Opentrack, a free head tracker and all it requires is a webcam, and it's great.

I had one of the sets you clip to your headphones and couldn’t get on with it. Might try again though.

Just to update this, I purchased a full HOTAS kit from WinWing during Black Friday and I've been really pleased with it - more buttons than I can shake a stick at....

I acquired the Viper Ace EX stick with extra view control buttons and the Strike Ace EX throttles fitted to the Orion 2 base plus finger lifter kit.

Loving the force feedback, I've also attached a set of logitech pedals for the Z axis.
