Re: Malta IAS - 27th/28th September 2025
I am looking at going to this later on in the year. Randomly my girlfriend suggested going to Malta on a holiday so I have managed to swing it to go in September around the 28-29th ... genius I know.
Has anyone been before and have any tips or info regarding the show? Never been and not really seen anything about this show previously.
Thank you in advance

Here's our UKAR Review from 2021, always a good place to get a flavour of an event:

We went in 2017, I played the exact same tactic with the Mrs haha!
Static was at the airport and flying was at the coast but the flying location has been different since we went. The website will have all that info. We did it all by bus as it was cheap for a week long pass. We had Turkish Stars, Saudi Hawks, a P8 flypast and some local Maltese military acts so a good show but not huge. Nothing much in the way of ground attractions either. Think you only need to pay to access the static at the airport but again, it was a while back when we went.
When coupled with a holiday it’s a no-brainer, Malta is a great place, definitely an easy way to get to a foreign show.

Thank you both for the info. I'll keep a look out to see if the display location changes, looks to be roughly where the aquarium is. I'll probably try and go one day to the static and then maybe stay near there seeing takeoffs etc and then spend the other day on the beach for the show. It looks like they get some good participants and some rare participants. Anyway a holiday in the sun with fast jets thrown in ... can't go wrong
