If the Swiss decide to send something, then I would rather it be the Super Puma (last attended 2012?).
2015! Has it really been 10 years? 😬

Haven't the Swiss already put out a statement that in effect ruled out any overseas (you know what I mean) participation at shows this year?

Best you might hope for is a VIP flight bringing in observers like in 2023 with the Falcon 900.

It must be just way less not entirely stopping international participation. Pat Suisse released their schedule with a few international dates on it. Unless Pat Suisse is treated differently to the other demo teams maybe there is a chance of something.

In that case, maybe their new Global 7500 could pop by! :grinning:

Good grief - do they never stop buying executive types? Since 1990 they've operated Learjet 35, Beech 350, Citation XL, Falcon 50, Beech 1900D, Falcon 900, CL604 Challenger, PC-24 and now this! And never a decent standard tactical transport such as a CASA 295 or C-27 to support their overseas fighter deployments. Strange nation.

But yes, that would be good to see.

At least it brings some variety to their airshow visits

NASA WB-57 would be nice to see (if it hasn't been retired yet?), plus a pair of Scooters :stuck_out_tongue:

Domestic dates for Frecce tricolouri. Hopefully means international dates come soon?

I didn’t know where to post this so I put it here

Edit: large gap in July I just noticed

There’s a large gap in my fencing at the moment, doesn’t automatically mean the Blue Angels are scheduled for a display over it.

Black cats to return ? I would like to see them again at next year’s show. It’s rare to get a pairs heli demo.

Never said it did. There’s a gap in July and these are domestic dates only. It’s called wishful thinking, hence wishlist

Yeah although of course it doesn't mean anything ... if they were at an airshow the weekend of RIAT then there is a 0% chance they are coming. If they are free ... there is at least the possibility that they could come

Saw the solo and pairs display last year. First time seeing them.

Very impressed with the pairs display, really enjoyed it. I am starting to like Helicopter displays more and more recently.

Yep agreed. Adds a nice bit of variety.

The pairs demo was very good, loved the dramatic turns and drops.

I would love to see the Black Cats again as they put on a really good display.

Was there not talk and a small teaser video of the UK Apache and a Wildcat doing a demo for this year?

There was yes but it was posted and deleted multiple times. Would love to see the apache back as I’m dying to see some pyro again!

I know it was mentioned in earlier earlier posts on here. But with the New Zealand 757s up for replacement it would be great to get them one more time. Not sure how many flying hours they have left in them so I know it is a long shot! But they were down a couple of years ago to attend but then cancelled. Would be great to get one last display from them.

+1

Was really excited for it at 2022 before it cancelled, I know some people in here would love an airliner in the flying display and apparently it’s quite a spritely performance. On my wishlist for sure

Would love to see the 757 again. Saw it at Cosford in 2018 (Peter was flight director then I think?) and really enjoyed it.

Only thing missing at Cosford was the take off and landing aspect.

I think the New Zealand 757s confirmation a few years ago is probably a RIAT record as it confirmed one week then cancelled the next week

But yes I would have to agree seeing them one last time would be great
