My father in law, a flight navigator on the Aurora for almost 40 years has been given a few months left to live and I was hoping you guys could share whatever images you have over the years of this aircraft (heck he might even be part of the crew).

Re: CP-140 Aurora 🇨🇦
Send him regards, long hours, tough conditions on those machines.
Sadly I just missed out on seeing one in the original scheme with the red and white cheatline.

A more recent one, they've become scarce over here at shows in the last ten years

Thanks so much Paul, these are fantastic. I’ll be sure to show him these. Kind regards, Joe.

Here are a few from RAF St Mawgan / Newquay Airport. I'm guessing that during his 40 years there's a good chance your Father in law spent some time there and that hopefully he has some good memories of his time in Cornwall.

Re: CP-140 Aurora 🇨🇦
Hello Joe,
Here are some of the CP-140s that I have photographed since 1981. They came to 'my airbase' Valkenburg in the Netherlands often and were always welcome guests. I have seen all 18 of them here and even flew in one as a passenger. Send him my regards from Holland!

Ah you guys are brilliant.
This will cheer him up big time.
What a wonderful set of images and will definitely evoke some cherished memories of flying on this iconic workhorse.

My first sighting of a CP-140 Aurora was in 1987 one was on approach to Edinburgh Airport, took one look and thought what was the dark grey Orion and who operated it, luckily my friend who helped me get interested let me know it was actually a Canadian CP-140 Aurora.....
Re: CP-140 Aurora 🇨🇦
Just a couple of mine, of the same airframe at the 1981 Greenham show, by whatever name it was known at the time.
