Duxford In A Different Light: Scramble! - 25th January 2025

Post by Pen Pusher »

Although advertised as an event to photograph the ‘Scramble! The Summer of 1940’ exhibition with aircraft illuminated in a range of white and coloured lighting, it was also an opportunity to photograph AirSpace, in a different light, for the last time before the big change around starting in March. In order taken all hand held.

Nice to see that Duxford are trying different things…

However, this might be a polarising opinion, but personally I think the lighting of the aircraft is horrible.

While acknowledging its not easy shooting in lighting conditions like this, I'm not sure what the IWM are thinking about with these things.. I certainly don't get it.

Me too! That's not to detract from Brian's photography, but just what are IWM thinking - or maybe they aren't?!
