Sun n Fun, Florida 2025 (image heavy!)

After spending a weekend at Barksdale Luisiana, for their Defenders of liberty airshow, it was time to get on the road to Lakeland Florida! We night stopped in Pensacola with the idea originally to visit the Navy museum there but unfortunately due to US rules we couldn't go unless we were taken on by a US citizen. hopefully we can go another time. we did manage to find some interesting Museums on the way down including the Airforce Armament museum, Alabama Battleship air park and we also managed to get on to Barksdale AirPower museum! (ill post museum photos separately later....

Sun and fun was an incredible show, they also have a night show and the most amazing night show I've ever seen with drones, fireworks, fire, planes with fireworks!! the night show was in my opinion the most amazing spectacle I've ever witnessed!

they even had a gaggle of AV-8Bs and A-10s! the Harriers are due to be retired in just a few weeks so we were very lucky to catch them!

Excellent photos, looks like this year was an improvement on last on many fronts, especially the warbird scene.

Great set of shots , having done Sun n Fun at least 3 times , it's great combined with a Florida holiday , the only downside is the amount of good stuff you can not photograph as lots of items are not barriered off like UK airshows , folks like ants all over the place and under the wings .

It can be frustrating but it you are willing to hang around a bit after the show, you can fill your boots as most cleared pretty quickly and after the night show, it was like a free night shoot with all the flood lights to aid everyone getting out.

A fab set of images from a show that I have not attended. My fave is the night shot of Panchito - nice low angle.
