Thought this thread required at least one shot of a RAF Puma minus the polyvalent filters...

A dodgy scan, from a matt print found in the 'reject box' of XW215 DM of 230 Squadron taken through glass at Hannover Air Fair 22nd May 1982!

..the last British built example. ZA947 crashed during a test fllight in France, killing the two RAE engineers who were in the back. One of them had replaced me after I left chopper flight.

Three different kinds of Pumas.

An IAR330 built in and operated by Romania. One flew past the photographers at Kecskemet last year. A classic Puma!

A newer AS532 Cougar in Whisper Mode. The 'terrorists' in this assault demonstration (Leeuwarden 2011) still haven't noticed it!

On this day 60 years ago, the Puma made its first flight.
