Vulcan - Southend

Just looking for a bit of info ...

For a Christmas present I have a VIP tour of the Vulcan at Southend. Really looking forward to seeing such a legendary aircraft up close.

I am also looking to get tickets for the first fast taxi run of the year in May. Does anyone know when the tickets are likely to come on sale? Also how quickly this event sells out? I just want to hear that howl again .. last time I heard it was at Riat 2015

Well here at the incredibly sunny Southend. The most perfect weather for this … cannot wait !!!

Not sure if anyone else was there from here but that was better than expected. Not a cloud in the sky, perfect sunset on a warm day. Fantastic howl for the mid runway test before the fast taxi. Then parked up only 10-15 feet away still blasting those engines. Couldn't hear anything for a good 25 minutes after!

Highly recommend this to anyone thinking of doing it later in the year.
