I got rejected - I wonder what the criteria is, is it just a matter of how quickly you applied? I was fairly early, but didn't provide any "media" credentials or anything as I don't have any such credentials!

I sent a link to a flickr stream I think, and applied fairly late so prob a bit random. But now I've "is my lens big enough" insecurity......well it will be incentive to actually put the photos up after the event.. This is some archived info on the spotters setup from 2023. Obviously out of date but may provide some idea of how things might be. https://archiwum2023-airshow.wp.mil.pl/ ... index.html Incidently they have now sent out the booking link to the spotters tix for those who were lucky to get the accreditation. That link closes 6th July so possible that if not all are taken up maybe a few more might get accredited?

+Polish Special Forces S-70i on static.
While I dont mind the last few announcements as I've never been to Radom before, so everything is 'new' for me, the people who have attended before are becoming quite unhappy as its the same old for them. I wonder if foreign air force participation is now complete and thats why they have started to add the Polish Armed Forces aircraft? Would be a shame as there was big talk of Soloturk coming... If thats the case then civilian announcements should be next, and theres a few SC already like the drone show, Baltic Bees, Luke etc with a new one coming today in the form of the Polish BO 105.

Been to Radom 5 times. Planning to go again (got my ticket)
And I have seen old and new things everytime. I go to Poland to see rare Polish aircraft, some for the first time (hope for AW101, AW149 seen these but without Polish serials and SF-340 , AH-64) and old stuff one last time (!? :unamused: Mig-29 Su-22 Mi-24s)
And okay maybe your random odd foreign one. Not for German an Eurofighter or Soloturk.

Foreign participation is always somewhat limited some static (liked the Ukrainian Frogfoots, twice and Croatian Hip). Radom is a bit like Zeltweg not much space for static aircraft and very cramped.
And always lots of types and subtypes from the Polish AF/NY/AR. Well it is a Polish Air Show :grinning:

Flying has brought some specials eg. Pakistani JF-17 Thunder although the weather was terrible that day. And offcourse Belarusian Flanker (crashed) and Israeli F-15I well not in my years.

And the 'Grot' is very nice!

What I think gets people riled up is that there hasn't been anything added to the flying display for quite some time, I'm happy about the Hind, the Mi-2 and the Mi-17 - but I'd want to see them in the air, not tucked away somewhere on the ground with thousands of people around.

The rumoured air parade is what I am desperately waiting to get announced! It's the only way to see something like a Mi-17, Mi-24, Mi-2 etc in the air.

Afternoon all, is the evening show on the Saturday better viewed inside or outside the base, or is there not much difference? Debating which day to get tickets. Thanks!

Inside is far better for the evening show. By the time the evening flying started in 2023 the sun was over our right hand shoulder.

Brilliant, thanks Dean. Saturday it is! Looking at staying in Kielce if anyone has had experiences of getting to/from the show, will be using the train as mentioned earlier on this thread and Saturday inside, Sunday outside.

MiG-29, Mi-17, Mi-24, W-3, AW101, AW149, SW-4, Mi-2 and a few more currently unknown types will be 'in the air above radom', although theres no more info given, I am 99,45% sure that its to do with the airparade.

Nice!

I can't wait to see mainly at this show - SU-22, MIG-29, Mi-24 in the air.

Obviously the rest is also good, but that is the three I need to see again before it is too late.

Also my only chance to catch the Rafale in this gorgeous livery

SU22, Mig 29, MIL 24 all in the air at some point. Perfect. Just hoping one of the jets (F16? also uses flares and it will really justify the overseas trip :-)

Frecce is still flying in limited numbers (only 7 or 8 aircraft) because of their recent accident at Pantelleria.

The Polish F-16 hasn't used flares at any of their displays thus far this year, so I'm guessing they won't be using them at Radom either... The Gripens and the Finnish F-18 will most likely be using flares though.

I'm quite excited to see the FA-50 as we just got a faint glimpse of it flying back in 2023 - fingers crossed we get to see more of it this time.

Looking at what the FA-50 did at Deblin and Suwalki, the most we will get is a few flybys.

I am hoping to see the C-295 demo.

I'll take it! I'm not expecting a full display, but a few passes and a bit of burner action and I'm happy ;)

C-295 demo confirmed :D
From what I understand, the air parade will feature every aircraft in the Polish Armed Forces, except for Mi-14 and SH-2G, which is a little disappointing as the Mi-14 will be retired at the beginning of August (TBC) without a farewell appearance.

Still impressive, with the amount we are getting!

A very nice varied show, loads of International participants and then nearly everything Poland has to offer.

The flying program is very very good ... can't wait!
