Re: RIAT Arrivals... LIVE!
Thanks for all pictures and your dedication Andy in providing the live updates. I'm really enjoying it. One question for you: No signs of the Slovak Mig-29 yet?

What a machine! Tomorrow can't come fast enough for me
Re: RIAT Arrivals... LIVE!
Nice shot Andy. But I can't get excited about the Spirit, it leaves me cold.

Weather looks grim there It's bright blue skies and Sunshine here in Essex.
Hopefully it'll depart Monday and I'll be able to catch it then.

Re: RIAT Arrivals... LIVE!
Hello all,
Well what a three days it has been with all the extremes of weather ranging from clear blue sky to it completely bucketing it down and iso400 for the B2 tonight.
I would like to extend my deepest thanks to everyone who has been so kind to me about posting these photos and updating this thread both on the forum and in the FRIAT enclosure itself.
A big thanks has to be given to the senior UKAR team for fixing the forum so today's updates could go ahead.
It has been a tiring three days and this will be the final photo update of this thread, it is now time for me to relax and enjoy the show!
I hope you have enjoyed this as much as I have relished the technical challenge it represented and I hope I've proved that a tablet represents a very viable photographic tool.

P.s. in regards to the Slovak mig, they arrived during the Swiss practice and did not have the fuel to hold so diverted into Brize. Whether they make it in for the show tomorrow... No idea.

According to the twitter feed Andy both the Mig's and Let 410 are down at Fairford. Have a great show over the weekend, and thank you again for the live updates.

A great effort, hope you and equipment did not get too wet over the 3 terrible days. For the many who cannot make the arrivals and are going to the show it gives us a view of what goodies despite the rain we will see.
