All these different aircraft and all you want is the bloody vulcan really

I dont see the point in your hate for the Vulcan?! Its one of the most graceful, and noisy aircraft in the skies of England, I dont see how everyone doesn't like it because the pilot doesn't put enough 'power' into the display, she must be a very fragile aircraft being old, such warbird getting thrown around would damage the airframe, which they don't want damage, after all, it costs so much to repair, and they are hoping to keep it flying until the end of 2015, so they're not exactly going to throw her around like modern fighters, so they can extend her life!

AH SILLY ME, I KEEP FORGETTING WE ARE NOT ALLOWED TO HAVE A NEGATIVE OPINION ON THE VULCAN

Great pics again ... especially the Vulcan !!

If it goes up in smoke tonight then I'd look no further than a certain poster born around 1959 ... especially now he has the CAPS lock on !!

In fact if you look closely you can seem him on the back seat of the TBM700 clutching his can of paraffin.

Is the 29sqn marked Typhoon BAe's contribution, or one of the in-service RAF examples down to attend?

Should be the display jet. As far as I can see, BAe's contribution was a few photos on Twitter.

Typhoon is the display bird, the Hunter was carrying rearward facing camera gear for a photoshoot overhead.

I think the NH90 arrived on Wednesday. And I think the L39 is one of the Baltic Beas?

Thank you for all your effort. Much appreciated. I look forward to shots from the show. One of these years I must get to there myself.

These are outstanding images, even more impressive considereing the conditions you are working under, thanks very much. This will be one of the few IATs / RIATs that I have missed since 1985. I stupidly went and had a heart attack 3 months ago, and while the recovery is good its too soon for me to sit out in the sun enjoying the perfume of burnt aviation fuel, listening to the sound of freedom ripping apart the sky, and suffering from acute camera envy. Im relying on images like these to get my fix this year, so please keep em coming. I hope all of you guys attending have a great time a safe journey, and come away with fantastic memories. See you next year !!

So the Estonian air force is borrowing an aircraft from the Baltic Bees?

I asked a question about this a while back, in the RIAT 2013 thread. I think the response was to do with the Estonian Air Force L-39's being leased.

It looks like the Baltic Bees colour scheme - minus the titles - plus the addition of the Estonian flag on the fin....

This one taken in Kiev in 2010...

... and Moscow 2010.....

Can I add my thanks to Andy for posting all the photos - great service!!

Well,

What can I say?

This is the final photo post of RIAT Arrivals...LIVE! 2013

Thank you for all your kind comments, it has been a blast.

There is no more fitting aviation subject than appears in my last images, I can only say two words about them. Welcome Back.

That's it for arrivals 2013, see you all in 2014.

Andy
