USA Space program ?????

Post by scotthldr »

With the last STS mission scheduled for this Autumn then the impending retirement of the 3 Shuttles not long after, what is going to happen to the USA space program? I haven't heard or seen anything on a replacement space vehicle.

With the main ongoing mission being Constellation, the project name for a return to the moon, there is no true Shuttle replacement. Ares will be the launch vehicle and Orion the Crew capsule.

Plenty of photos and news on the testing at the NASA website.
