Naval Aviation GB Airfix 1/48 Sea Vixen *Finished* 31/12/13

Post by twirl2688 »

Having had this one in the stash since it was released a couple of years ago. What better time to get it on the go. I'm thinking I will finish it in the markings of No. 899 NAS aboard HMS Eagle.

Is that XP924? Was hoping to throw this kit in instead of the Swordfish as that looks too complicated...

Just a mini update. Cockpit assembled and painted. Just waiting for paint to dry , then bang seats will be going in.

Hey Scott... Stop holding up traffic driving that truck around the city and show some pictures... Glad to see another one of these in the GB. I know you have been itching to build this one for a while now.

Hi all sorry I have not been around in a while. I have just had no desire to get this model done, as the deadline is looming I figured I better get my butt in gear  just a couple for now. Maybe some more tomorrow.

Hi all i trust that you have all had a Merry Christmas and that Father Christmas has delivered lots of kits to you all
Anyway. since i have been neglecting this build for to long i thought i better knuckle down and get on with it with the deadline two days away. After a 7 hour shift at the table i think im in a position to be able to start applying some decals.

Thanks Alan it was a bit of a struggle to get it finished as I lost nearly all my mojo with it.
