Guys, I had the whole family looking out for you both last year and I still
never caught a glimpse of you.

I'll try harder this year, but if we could actually link up somewhere, just to put names to faces, that would be cool.

I should be there with a mate -camping at TOtterdown Friday night then into the show Saturday. Never actually been to a RIAT show day before (well not for 20 years or so!) so looking forward to it! I haven't planned my wardrobe yet (!!) but if you suggest a spot to meet we could try.

Okay, let's do this guys.

Let's meet up at Wonderland Models as James suggests on Saturday.

What time does the flying start, or better still as you guys are regulars and avid RIATers, you tell what time to be there Saturday morning?

Me and Jack will be there around 8am. I'll meet up as soon as we find a good place to base ourselves for the day. Might also have a good nosey around wonderland, haven't done much modelling lately, so I need something to motivate me!

Anybody wish to have my mobile to contact me, PM me

Hi guys,
Sorry for the absence of late!
I will be at RIAT all weekend - Mach3 even.

Guys, just realised that I won't be able to get into the site till 07:30 and then I've got to drag the family over to you.

Please give me a little more time before making your way to the flight line !

Cheers

Alan

Okay, as I have been disappointed in previous years missing people from this forum,
I've decided that I will wear an A5 piece of paper saying "Deacon" on it between 08:00 and 09:00.

Great to meet a few of you guys today. Thanks to deacon and his lovely and patient family as well (I hope you all had a great time today). Good to meet twirl and fumbles too. Ended up making a sly purchase at antics models in the end.

A successful meet up with you guys. Great to see Fumbles, Twirl again and catching up with James too.

Apologies to TomTwin as I didn't hear either of his texts come in so screwed up seeing him. :wall:
Perhaps next year mate.

We enjoyed RIAT, the heat did do for us a bit, but I've come away with a new
long term personal GB to do. Modelling every type of aircraft I see at RIAT, starting from 2011!

Geoff did you get to Wonderland? :dunno:

Given the rate you build models that'll take you what, 6 months?

Didnt get down that end until after 10! But i did liberate a Hasegawa Typhoon T3 from them!

So what is the full list of buys then? In addition to above, all 1/72.....

AZ Spitfire T9
Academy A-37B Dragonfly
Airfix Lightning F2A

Also received in payment for being the driver, the Kittyhawk Jaguar GR3 and Airfix Blenheim 1.

Maybe next year! Or maybe Telford in November???
