This years show is about as bland as it gets. Anson, Extra, Aerostars, more akin to a village fete.

Shame PlanesTV managed to mess up the early part of the Harrier display.
Nice to see 'Dave's Dad' showing how STOVL should be done.

You have to wonder , though , given the number of times he's looked in the direction of the cameraman.

I thought it was far from awesome. Bland is the word I would use; certainly nothing special to see other than the hover at the end.

Still a real coup for Farnborough to get one over, but I'd watch that F-18 display anytime over that Harrier offering.

It was the rarity value of the Harrier for me. Enjoyed the P8 to. Does anyone know whose spitfire that is flying as i don't recognise it?

On Friday I'm sure the Spit pilot was Andy somebody-or-other?

You were very lucky with the weather today. From 2pm until about 20 minutes ago we had continuous torrential rain and thunder, causing flash floods, here in Southend. Wouldn't have got a lot of flying here!

Paul Day has now retired from Spitfire flying. It was flown by Phil O'Dell
