Proper Low Merlin

Does anyone know what the Merlin was doing going East-West over Sandy,Central Beds at about 1910, must have been about 250ft. Earlier on in the day there had been 2 other Merlin's going the same way

If it was a Merlin near Sandy Bedfordshire, it was probably dropping in on the RSPB HQ

Oh that's what that racket was! I stuck my head out of the front door but it had already gone.

See my post from yesterday, just down the A1 in Biggleswade there have been Chinooks, Lynx's and Merlins much of this week at low level. Some carrying underslung loads, heading WNW and returning empty and lower SSE ish.

Puma early this morning as well (0810ish) very strange

Wildcat just passing South of Northampton (8.30am) at low level. Maybe related, maybe not. But not a common site on a Sat morning.
