Well after pretty much 35 years of non-modelling activity I thought I'd try my hand at this little kit.
No doubt I'll be asking lots of questions along the way and I can already see one or two areas for concern, thank goodness for the timescale of this GB!
The Pit Road Vulcan looks pretty good to my eyes with no signs of flash and the detail seems very crisp. The newly released decals from "26 Decals" arrived this afternoon so quite tempted to do a mid-1970's scheme, there's even the option to do the "zapped" Kiwi bird!
Anyway, on with the box shots!
Cheers
Tim

great, I will be following this with interest. I just don't have space for the 1/72 version and this will fit the collection nicely.

The RWR fairings were scabbed on to the original fin so a bit of knifework should do it quite easily...
Must get me one of these bad boys, having struggled with 2 Welsh models vac forms, this should be heavenly..
looking forward to your progress...

I'd considered joining this GB with one of these, but they seem scarce?

Must admit Dan couldn't find anyone who stocks this kit in the UK so ended up buying it from Japan via Amazon.
What I did struggle with was the aftermarket decals as the Fundekals set seem no longer available? Thankfully, 26 Decals came to the rescue with their new offering and they look pretty good to me.

I didn't even know this kit even existed. I look forward to seeing it finished, I may have to find one myself later on. The 1/72 scale kit may be to large for my place.

Looks a really good kit. just wondering if you would sell the 27 sqn markings as i want to convert my cheapo xh558 from display colours to the 27 sqn colours she had in operational use.
Life's a piece of S*** if you look at it!
