DCS Razbam Harrier
DCS Razbam Harrier
This module looks amazing! I really cant wait for this, I do hope that they include a GR7/9 version in the future, but until then a fictional livery will do.

Re: DCS Razbam Harrier
My most anticipated module for the foreseeable future, not knowing how far along others like the Mig-19P, A-7E and F-4 are.

Re: DCS Razbam Harrier
I'm mildly optimistic about the Harrier, I still haven't completely made up my mind about Razbam - I still remember them from back when they used to release "Kris Kris Tofferson!" addons for FSX, but then again I quite liked their Mirage 2000 for DCS, so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt.
Re: DCS Razbam Harrier
To compliment this, Razbam have created a KC-130 AI tanker to be released as a core element of DCS world at the same time as the Harrier.

I love this module. It has got to be my favourite at the moment. Razbam have done a fantastic job. I know there is still a lot to do like the TGP, radios etc but for a early access its great.
I have been practising my carrier landings and after hours of circuits im getting the hang of it now

Re: DCS Razbam Harrier
It's bloody brilliant. I'm just about getting the hang of the short and vertical landings on the ship now - that dance you have to do with the nozzle and throttles is quite intense! Thank god for split throttles! You really, really have to learn a whole new set of movements and instincts so different from both fixed-wing and rotary.
Launching off the ramp of the Kuz is cracking good fun as well, slamming the nozzles to 70 degrees as you fly off. Just so much good fun. Plus the NAVFLIR is a hell of a piece of programming!

Very nice. Yes I agree I thought that ED would have fixed that by now maybe its in the 2.5 merge along with the new Kuznetsov.
In that vid did you have your SAS and Q-feel switches on?

Ahahah I forgot to after I reloaded the profiles (first flight after a windows refresh). I thought it was harder than before!
I did wonder why I was having to fight it so much. Even more of an achievement then! First one I did was so satisfying though. It reminded me of when the Huey came out and it was just this whole new sense of control that you had to get into, that made no sense at first but once it clicked, you really felt like you'd mastered something.

Re: DCS Razbam Harrier
Finally purchased this module in the Easter sale.
I’ve only got to grips with startup, ground INS alignment and take off properly for now... with a little muck around in the hover but it’s such a lovely bit of kit.
Now to learn sensors, weapons and carrier ops

A guy on the ED forums has developed a 3-D printed nozzle lever to fit to the Thrustmaster Warthog Throttle.
