Condor 1/48 Heinkel He178

Post by DerekF »

A wee something thrown together in a few a days. The first jet aircraft to fly in August 1939, this is Condor's version of the Heinkel He178. There are few anomalies with the kit but it builds up fine. Finished in Vallejo RLM02and Vallejo steel.

A fascinating look at just how far things have come. Did it have no national markings at all?

Looks like it was a real handful to fly! Just wonder how things would have went if Germany had developed their jet technology as fast as we did from first flight to in service?
