I wonder which Hurricanes are the mystery pair?
Maybe R4118 for 1 of them?

Just been wondering that too. Although tomorrow looks a better day, I don't particularly fancy getting the car stuck in a bog!

Just rang Old Warden, it's definitely going ahead.

Does anyone know, can you present your ticket on your phone (rather than printing it off!!)
Cheers

Yeah, done it several times. Just make sure your phones on full brightness when they scan it, or itll take forever.

Still undecided about this one. Forecasts suggesting it could be cloudy and/or wet...

The weather radar shows a fair amount of rain over Old Warden when the flying is meant to be on. Outside of that window it doesn't look too bad.

Re: June Evening Airshow - 15th June 2019
Looks increasingly like rain to me - pretty much every forecast now saying it will rain at some point during the flying, if not all of it. It’s also become very overcast here in Essex.
Not been to a single airshow yet this year. Weather has been depressing, especially after last summer. Hope it picks up soon.

I'm leaning towards not going. It looks very overcast, and quite breezy, even if it escapes the rain.
Re: June Evening Airshow - 15th June 2019
I made the mistake last year of not going to an evening show, based on the forecast and wind at the time...turned out to be one of the best photographic shows of the season with the evening light breaking through the storms.

True, but they were cheaper last year...

Doesn't look a particularly great line up to me, coupled with cloud and possible rain, so I'm gonna wait till next months.

Staying home seeming like a good decision- just had a low transit pass from the Lancaster, on it's way to Tugby I think.
Re: June Evening Airshow - 15th June 2019
A heavy shower just blew through quickly, 2 aeroncas arrived another due at tea time according to the pilot.

Weather didn't improve much here in Essex and now it's raining - how is it for those at the show?

Apart from one biggish shower it’s been good. The light, when the clouds have cleared, has been lovely.

Oh, you had some sunlight then? Slightly annoying, but I put the Hangar 11 Mustang to bed and had a cuppa in the hangar. Swings and roundabouts.
