Do these Warbirds land at the small airstrip at Crosby before / after they display ?

There is a nightshoot on Saturday, aircraft expected at that so far are said to be P47, P51, T6, Spitfire, Hurricane, Dakota, Catalina plus possibly others I would guess all dependant on ground conditions on the day.

Yes, most aircraft land at the show. Have a look back at some photo threads from last year to see what was there.

Doubt the P-47 will be there, due at Southport late on Saturday and displaying early on the Sunday, looks like it's overnighting up north.

Re: Victory Show, Cosby 2019
That's a shame, from what I've seen the P-47 looked fantastic operating from Cosby last year. At least we should have multiple Buchons, Spitfires and Mustangs with a Dakota and Catalina if all goes well.

Re: Victory Show, Cosby 2019
Around 1:30 after the battle. There’s no mad rush in the morning to get a spot by the fence line either, most visitors watch the battle and then proceed to set up for the air display.
Re: Victory Show, Cosby 2019
Thanks for the gen chaps. I was planning to attend just the evening shoot, but might aim to make the afternoon too. Sounds promising. I'll be sorry if the Thunderbolt doesn't stay (or come back) for the evening as it was why I booked the evening event. Oh well.
Re: Victory Show, Cosby 2019
Lovely, many thanks!
Re: Victory Show, Cosby 2019
I maybe be attending this weekend. Looks like a great line up and a great show
Quick question about parking.
Can anyone show me the car parks and which is best to park in.
Thanks in advance

Carparks you have no choice, they fill one then use the other. To be honest the1 outside off the main rd in is the best.

Re: Victory Show, Cosby 2019
Best place to watch the flying displays from with the new display line? From what I've read, either extreme end of the runway?

If it’s the same as last year they did a horseshoe going over the battlefield and curving away before curving back over the left hand end. So yes either end you were closest by far

Re: Victory Show, Cosby 2019
Anybody know how if I'll be able to arrive around 1pm-ish?
They're very clear that you can't leave the car parks, but I'm hoping that you can enter....?
Thanks.

Re: Victory Show, Cosby 2019
Good day today! Shame we didn't get the Lancaster but the rest of the display was still enjoyable! These two shots where taken at the non-battle end of the runway, so if anybody's going tomorrow they might get a little idea of what it's like. Nothing special mind, just little examples. Taken with a 400mm lens.
Either end of the runway should get you decent shots, but the end away from the battlefield arena is (personally) better as there's a bit more open space. If the they use that end of the runway for the landings it's even better, Saturday they where landing at the battlefield end.

Loving the shot of the departing Spitfire, nice different angle.

Re: Victory Show, Cosby 2019
I agree. The new curved display line is brilliant, topsides all day long!
