If you're lucky enough to even see a plane on BJTV feed... Mostly you see an out-of-focus blur and the camera shaking wildly, not to mention the displays are not meant to be seen from that angle so you can't appreciate them. I'll gladly pay for a proper livestream like PlanesTV's.

Who,s moaning.I am entitled to an opinion and appreciate its free.

If Planes TV are anything they were like at Yeovilton last week its a waste of money anyway.

It's a hoot. The guy is having fun. Lot of wind noise though - needs a better mic though. Needs to be more fun; some of the threads, comments and views this site all a bit too serious and deep.

Just watching the Gripen - it's like a nippy little sports car.

But they're not in the business of charging people for that information...

He does free shows like today's show to get new subscribers to sign up for his paid channel. He generally does 20 minutes free previews and then it's paid members only for the rest of the show.

He started out on Facebook doing live streaming with Periscope. He's had several Facebook pages since. I don't think he has ever seen a flying Concorde or a flying Avro Vulcan.

Today's show is messy. Free but messy. He is definitely not used to fighter jets. They are way too fast for him. Can't complain with a free show.

It's an interesting reflection on modern culture that we expect professional standards from someone who gives away something for free.

Cut off without warning.
Gone.
At the wrong time.
Too bad. I really like Frecce Tricolori.
They are super professional. Beautiful sharp displays.

He certainly tried.

I am waiting, there is still much more, including the Reds. Maybe it will come back up.
Who knows?

Then I'll move on to my Apollo 11 night, reminiscing the original 50 years ago.
Boeing 747 and Concorde were also the same year. I went to the 1969 Paris Air Show to see them.
They really did some great things back in the days.

Is it? If someone holds themselves out (and indeed they take money for what they do) as someone doing it and broadcasts it for viewers, it’s not unreasonable that said viewers might expect some competence or professionalism. If he was unable or unwilling to provide that, the. why do it? No-one asked him to.

I know the basic stream was free, but it was about making money and getting more subscribers, and because it was for that purpose then to me, that’s not an unreasonable expectation.

Ill? He's still sniffling his way through streams then, like he has for the last 6 or so months.

As it's the wife's 50th Birthday today I was very grateful for the stream as I could only keep glancing at the monitor today and I wasn't prepared to pay Planes £15 just to catch the odd 5 mins of the show.
