Paris-Villaroche Air Legend review
Re: Paris-Villaroche Air Legend review
Nice write-up of a great event, and some excellent photos too.
A couple of points:
There's another PT-26 active in The Netherlands, it was airborne this past weekend. https://www.facebook.com/13881872346410 ... 00?sfns=mo.
There are several in Canada too.
The Belgian Fury was not painted into that Iraqi scheme by its current owner as you suggest, it dates back over 20 years to its time in Australia at Panama Jack's (Rob Poynton)
Roll on Melun 2020! Bummer it clashes with Sanicole though.

Great report really tempted to go. What’s the easiest way to travel there?

We flew into CDG then hired a car, it was about a 45min drive

I've driven to both Meluns (and a few La Fertés, which is an identical journey until the last few miles). Barring the typical Paris traffic cluster, it's a nice drive and the show itself is brilliant.
Unfortunately my navigator wasn't up to scratch and took us home via Switzerland, Germany, Luxembourg and Belgium.
