I wish they’d put it back in the correct green/grey markings it would have had from the factory though, instead of the present pretend Battle of Britain colours it has now. And before anyone comments, I know the owner likes it that way, and he can paint it the way he wants.

The green/brown camo on the Spit would be accurate for a Mk.V Spit in early 1941, the sky spinner and tail band are post-BofB.
I do agree, though, that it would be nice to see her one day in the green/grey scheme she rolled out of the factory in.

Duxford Wednesday 9th December:
Some clear weather for a change, with Harvard 'Wacky Wabbit' busy training, and a rare sighting of East Midlands based KF183. Spitfire PV202 made a single sortie.
