I believe that the original 2019 reference in the post related to when the Science Museum put those three particular aircraft/cockpit up for possible loan to other collections, as referenced in here https://www.sciencemuseumgroup.org.uk/a ... ollection/
Lots of national collections are going through a similar process at the moment.

It is being reported tonight on the Bruntingthorpe Facebook page that work on the new museum has begun and will include a ground running area, a bit of positive news even with the fast taxi days seemingly all over.

I drove past last weekend and could see from the road the clearing that has been made next to the LPG hangar.
Some people can only see the glass half empty while others see it as half full. It's great to hear something positive coming out of Bruntingthorpe after so much negativity in recent months. Lets hope the tide is turning.
For putting his hand deep in his pocket and securing a museum area so many of the airframes are safe??
Didnt he own that area, after the long term lease was sold to the car guys?
The area is outside the peri-track and perimeter fence of the leased area. So yes, he did own it. Lots of trees cleared. Not sure what it means for any of the big aircraft.
