I expect many people have a favourite location they frequent to take photos, this is one of mine.
For many years it was this spot I headed for at RAF St Mawgan Air Days, in recent years (since the days of Classic Air Force) it has been possible to walk to this location at Newquay Airport. Sadly proposed redevelopment plans will eventually prevent access to this area.
All taken during the last 12 months, my last visit being the 15th March (A400).

Re: Favourite bit of fence
All good things come to an end and as predicted access to most of this fence is no longer possible, the area was cordoned off last week and workmen have started preparatory work to demolish the old RAF Control Tower and Fire Section.
These images were taken between June -Sept 2020. It has been good to see both RAF P8s training on the old RAF St Mawgan runway.

Lovely photos!
I really must get myself down there soon. What's Spitfire Corner like for casual spotting?
I live in Falmouth and work 3am - 1pm and I can never drag myself when I finish, and Culdrose is so quiet these days.

Cheers.
Re Spitfire Corner, it's hopeless for photography but if you want to sit and watch stuff landing on 30 it's ok and safe. If they are landing on 12 you won't see much.
