It was a glorious sunny day that bought the usual problem of shooting into the sun for much of the flying display so most of my shots are of the static. Hope they're worth a look.

Jaysus, My first Mildenhall. Blown away by it. I thinkg I went with Aeroprints as I had no Transport. They bus left before the flipping Airshow ended
My Dad only took me to Biggen Hill, Farnbourgh and Shuttleworth in the 70s. From Bexley not much of a trek to the Hill but by God a trip to Shuttleworth was certainly an adventure. Pinics along the road side and all!
He claims he never seen any ads for the other shows, He was not into the Heavy Metal anyhow and I was lucky to be taken out anyhow!

Always a great trip out as a kid. The days where you never knew what was really going to be there and no one cared about having a list 6 months out. The excitement of looking through the calendar when you parked, taking the long walk in trying to spot what the large aircraft tails belonged to as you got closer. Then following your nose to find the nearest Burger stand, swiftly followed by locating the Funnel Cakes. An Awesome show and in a very different world of airshows, Happy Days!

Great set - thank you. '89 was one of the years that I missed so all the more grateful to see these.
Looking forward to more.

Thanks for the comments. Doing a lot of scanning while I'm off work so more to come from various shows in due course.
