Sam, I think it's the way that most people use forums!
I've put one on the front page just for you Eric
Have just noticed the New Posts button, to be honest I don't know if this is an upgrade or a downgrade! :dizzy:

If I try to delete any PMs then I get the "The submitted form was invalid. Try submitting again." message. I'm using Chrome and have just deleted cookies, this happens if I just try to delete one PM, or the whole lot.
This is fixed now, thanks
Not for me I’m afraid. Have deleted cookies etc.
Edit: it is working on Firefox (and iPad) but not Chrome

Interesting. It wouldn't be cookie related.

Not as good as the Key Aero upgrade. Far too much useful functionality, large areas given over to posts rather than blank space and adverts, and no annoying bits of the screen expanding and contracting as you troll through hundreds of old posts to get to the most recent ones.

You couldn’t **** up a decent forum if you tried.

Clicked the link to open the forum on my computer, using Chrome, this morning and I was logged out and when I tried to log in all I get is -' The submitted form was invalid. Try submitting again'. I've cleared cookies etc. My other computer, laptop is showing the same.

Opened Firefox, logged in on all three no problem. :dunno:

When I click Clear Cookies in Chrome, the username and password details are still there.

That sounds like a Browser Feature.

Chrome and Edge have a default option to store usernames and passwords in the browser itself - nothing to do with Cookies.

I’d dig out the setting and either delete the record for UKAR or turn it off completely - in Edge (the latest version of which is based on Chrome) it can often get confused if you use the same username but different passwords on multiple sites.

Already did that. Went into Chrome settings, deleted anything to do with UKAR, tried to log in again and up came ' The submitted form was invalid. Try submitting again'

Don't know if it's relevant or not but on Firefox my last posting is timed at 06.12, the correct time I posted, but looking at it in chrome the time is 05.12

I'm getting the same message as Pen Pusher on Chrome this morning when I try to log in, have done the same as Brian with clearing all previous mention of UKAR, deleted cookies, cache, browsing history and also cleared my stored username & password. Have now managed to log in on Edge.

I've also had exactly the same problem (using Chrome) but have just come back to the PC after 30 mins and it seems fine now.

If anyone else can't login please comment below 😆😆

It *should* just be as simple as clearing your cookies from the browser and then refreshing the page when you get that invalid form message. I had to do it this morning (I had to clear all sessions from the sever last night unfortunately) and logged in fine. I'll have a think

Just tried that, again + re-boot and still can't log in on Chrome.

There’s no UKAR message board link at the top for me on mobile unless I go to landscape mode, which is really annoying. So I either have to turn my phone sideways every time I’ve read the posts in a thread or just keep on going back a page.

The board index link is in the drop down menu. Click on the three lines under the logo.

On the mobile (for Androids) change the browser to view it as a desktop website.

We’ve noticed an issue with iPhones where this doesn’t work, but for now a suitable workaround is to press the AA button, and reduce the size to 50%.

Sam might be along to correct me, but that works for me at the moment.

Alternatively there's one at the bottom of every page

Where exactly was the button?
It was at the top as a sub menu when you clicked on 'Board Index' I think !

The link is here, if you can work it out from that :- search.php?search_id=newposts
It used to be a tab on the home page "view active posts". I have taken the link above and put it on my desktop but it was ideal to go the home page to access it. Personally I am amazed that it wasn't the go to method for everybody, using the board index you could miss a lot.

EDIT, I can see the little new posts tab now, all is well with the world

Just in case anyone else is trying to get online, While it seems some people have been having difficulties, if you get the message "the submitted form is not valid" or words to that effect, the best option is to clear the cookies from your browser. I know it's an inconvenience!

I found I ended up clearing all my browser cookies before it worked Sam, almost as if there's been a domain change in one of the cookies that's causing an issue as the forum software won't know to remove it.
