Transall?

Any Transalls about today? Sounded like one just droning over high above South Shropshire at 1.20pm?

If it was heading south then it would have been a French Navy Atlantique, there's another one coming behind it (currently over the Lake District).

Aha, cheers, at least it confirms I'm not going deaf and my engine recognition is still OK.

Yup, both have RR Tyne engines, so I suppose that 2 flying together would sound like one Vanguard !
