John Romain made a couple of nice low passes over the Essex and Hearts Air Ambulance HQ at Earls Colne this afternoon in the "NHS Spitfire"

Fabulous stuff.

Managed to catch it at Ipswich. Certainly brightened my day.

How long has the white underwing letters been applied to the PR.XI, as that's a LOT of oil streaks covering the 'U' already for just the one flight? :astonished:

Several weeks - IIRC they applied them to perform a flypast over Addenbrooke's during the last of the Thursday evening "clap for carers" things.

Nice shots Stu - had a nice view from the garden here, but it was raining.
