Culdrose air display

Post by alan broatch »

A few photos I have just scanned from Culdrose air display it must be late 60s early 70s but may be later. Sorry about the quality
it was in my Halina Paulette days also I never logged my photos in those days so so some my be out of place.

Great stuff, bit of a mix here as you have a Shackleton AEW2 (post 1972) but pre 1978 as you still have a Navy Buccaneer. But Sea King HC4s didn't become operational until 1979.

Yes, I would have said the date range was mid 70's to mid 80's?

A great set.

The quality of the photos doesn't matter when the subjects are that good!

Great to see, especially the Buccaneer and the unusual topsides view of a Shackleton!
