One of the few benefits of lockdown is working from home giving more opportunities to catch up on visiting wildlife in the garden...
Deer Fly...
Chiffchaff, which arrived at lunchtime as part of a mixed flock with Great, Blue and Long Tailed Tits...
Gatekeeper, feeding on Spearmint growing out of the small wildlife pond...
Mint moth (tiny!)...
Red underwing (somewhat larger)...
Hummingbird hawk moth, a favourite...
Froglet...
Hairy Shield Bug...
Yellow Tail Moth caterpillar...
Mayfly...
Wall Mason Wasp...

Nice set. Looks as though there's more than enough in the garden to keep you occupied.

Re: Garden Wildlife
Thanks - the small pond, wildlife friendly plants (buddleia, lavender etc) and location on the edge of the village all help attract plenty of visitors, including 2 or 3 hedgehogs most nights.

Re: Garden Wildlife
Very nice Yeah, I have around 4 hedgehogs visit my garden every night. I have a trail cam out and is great to watch back the videos of their night-time behaviour
Re: Garden Wildlife
Yes I've the same - they aren't always as timid as they look, occasional ASBO behaviour and tipping over the food tray more than once when scrapping over a few peanuts.
